No Other Land (ENG subs)

No Other Land follows Basel Adra, a young Palestinian activist from Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, who has been fighting against the mass displacement of his community by Israeli authorities since childhood. He documents the destruction of villages in his region, where Israeli soldiers systematically demolish homes and expel residents. At one point, he meets Yuval, an Israeli journalist, and an unlikely friendship forms between them. While Yuval supports Basel in his efforts, their bond is strained by the stark reality of inequality: Basel lives under military occupation, while Yuval moves freely without restrictions.

No Other Land, created by a Palestinian-Israeli collective consisting of Basel Adra, Yuval Abraham, Hamdan Ballal, and Rachel Szor, serves as an act of creative resistance and a call for justice in the ongoing conflict. The film has been showcased at numerous international festivals and has received widespread acclaim, including winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary in 2025.
